Cz500 auto tracking help

I’m trying to setup auto tracking and so far it isn’t working. When I have someone walking passed the camera there is no yellow highlight around them and it doesn’t follow them. I enabled auto tracking on the web configuration page and on my D961BB DVR and that hasn’t helped. Can anyone help me fix this. Thanks

    I am sure by now after 2 weeks of waiting for a reply you must have figured this out by now?! However if you have not it almost sounds like you turned on Auto Tracking however you have not enabled it on your event type. If you Enable it, then you on the PTZ part of the cameras WebUI, Click on that strange looking icon of a square and track a moving object by clicking the moving target.

    Now lets say you want to turn it on using Motion Then you have to enable the motion tracking in the Linkage Method area.. 

    Don't forget that you can setup how long you want it to track an object in Smart Tracking area, 0 will track until lost if you setup for the max 300 and  someone passes that time it will no longer track unless it is found again within the motion grid.

    Also might need to make sure that when you want motion tracking turned on is setup. Full time leave it setup for full time. However lets say that there is a time the camera isn't needed for the auto tracking say from 12am to 7am because you have the camera facing a street at that time of night and the FOV can see the whole area then there is no need to have tracking turned on at that time and in the Schedule you can setup so it don't.. Last thing you want lets say your camera is facing window and door on left yet someone made your camera go all the way to the right and someone was to break in before the camera had a chance to return to Guard area that wouldn't be captured..
