I91BN (VC800) freeze and artifacts
Hello,
I am looking for help as my recently installed Annke VC800 cameras (I91BN) very often display artifacts and freezes while live viewing. These flaws are also displayed in the recordings. Both cameras have the exact same problem.
The SD cards are fast write/read ones. They were formatted a few times.
Motion detection + human is enabled.
They are POE cameras and wired to a POE HUB which is wired to the modem.
Firmware was updated to the latest one as advised by tech support.
I am running in:
Codec: H265+
Res: 3840*2160
Bitrate type: Variable
Quality : Medium
FPS: 12,5
Max Bitrate : 6144
Max average bitrate : 3072
I tried to get help from tech support via a Ticket request but I've got asked my login & password from tech support. First time in my entire life a tech support asks me for my personal information. I do not feel confortable at all about this. That is why I'm trying to reach for help here.
Best regards,
-
Don't know the system, 2 cameras, shouldn't have such an issue. I would double check that the issue isn't' related to the H.265. I have many different cameras even some costly new ones from another company that offers H.265 and yet the camera came setup for H.264H out of the box. So I keep it there. I have a very costly 16ch POE AI NVR that has Auto H.265 and I have that turned off and I Choose what cameras I want to run on that format. When people talk about video issues first thing that I do is check if it is setup H.265 if it is, I would try different format. One it don't work well in Chome or Edge.
About giving Annke your log in. Some times it is best thing you can do to have a Tech look over your settings and maybe point out something you over looked. I mean it is their Hardware and should know how it works best.. If you don't want to worry about giving them the Main Admin account, Setup one. Call it Annke and make the password something like Annke!2345 and give them that as a ADMIN account. Once they are done, Remove the account. Next, If you don't want them to have access to to much info, Change the admin log in info for your cameras and NVR, Let them log in and help then change all the log in for the Cameras and NVR again..
