Hello Debbie, sorry to hear your having issues with your system. Just to be clear I am not a support team member and replying on my phone in a tiny text box so sorry for any typos. But hopefully can be some help. The cylinder cymbal is the common storage symbol, if that light is off it may be an issue with your internal hard, which may be causing your viewing issues not positive though. Do you have a way to access the system still? Like an extra monitor or small TV, I recommend plugging it into a monitor with either hdmi or vga, and a wired computer mouse will be needed as well. Go to the storage tab and see if your storage device is being recognized, if so make sure under the advanced section overwrite is selected. This just let's it delete the oldest videos as needed to make space for new video.

If you know the last day it worked you can also check in the windows event viewer for a reason it stopped. You access that easily by hitting the windows key + X key which pulls up a menu similar to when you hit the start tab. Event viewer will be on the list. Event viewer is a catalog of everything your computer has flagged. It can be a bit confusing to navigate at first but it's super handy.

Also you can try resetting your network info with the command prompt, open windows search and type cmd and run it as administrator .
Type these commands one at a time and hit enter after each

    Ipconfig /release
    Ipconfig /renew
    Ipconfig /flushdns

    Then Restart your pc
This will clean up qnd obtain a new ip address from the dhcp server.

    Hi Josh

I'll buy an extra monitor today and see how I get on. I'm not the best with technology so fingers crossed 🤞 thank you
