Custom event on human detection
Hi there! I'd like to install several C800 cameras in my garden. I don't necessarily feel the need to add a separate recorder. I just want to be able to view the camera feed on my phone or laptop. I don't need to keep a recording history because my primary interest is live monitoring. I'll have 3 or 4 cameras. It seems to me that using only SD cards will suffice, right?
However, I have a different question. Is it possible to generate a custom event directly from the cameras when they detect a person? I'd like to trigger all the lights in the garden at that moment and I'm wondering how to achieve this. One idea I had is to send an HTTP request to my router, then forward it to an Arduino or another module, which can then supply power to the lights. Is it achievable?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but if you just want it for live viewing and event detection such as motion then you shouldn't even need a SD card. The card is only for viewing past events that are recording to the card but it sounds to me that you don't even want that. Least you'll save yourself a few quid if that's the case :)
