So don't know the camera or the DVR. However in general the DVR and camera talk together over what is called OTC or RS-485. When you setup the camera to a DVR with OTC settings they will normally setup and access is enabled by Default. However if you don't find that is the case and your camera is in fact UTC then you might need to change the setting in your DVR if it has the Option for doing so. However if your camera is RS-485 then a different wire will need to be connected to your camera. This will be a pair of wires. This could connect to both the camera and DVR if it has RS-485 access. Then in the DVR or software or CCTV Keyboard *AKA JOYSTICK* you would need to setup that camera to talk with the device it is connected to on a channel type. Most times best to setup for PelcoD that is what I setup my RS-485 PTZ cameras to. The camera and DVR/Software would also need the right baud I normally setup for 2400. I think most of mine came setup with 9600 by default. Also an address is needed so DVR knows that it is working with right PTZ camera. See picture below, This is connected to my Annke camera and this is an IP camera so little different but this is the area where access to PTZ menu is for making change on my Annke DVR..
