    Raul Santos, I follow the instructions and I had to use my Gmail account due to it doesn't work with any other email for notification hope this helps you

    Rui in the user name you have to put your Gmail user name and password under and then follow everything else like it says put sender your Gmail and receiver your Gmail again

    I was initaly having the very same problem, using gmail. Then I found a hidden comment at the VERY BOTTOM of a you tube video about using Gmail. On the Gmail account you, at the top of the page YOU MUST GO TO THAT ACCOUNT in gmail and set the security setting to "lowest" - Gmail will tell this is not recommened, thus it is best to creat an account just for this email. 

    After I did that my test were successful. 

     

    The problem I am having now is after a day to two the email stopped sending and when I test it the test fails again. 
    Anneke is not very useful when trying to work through the problme becuse it takes them about one full day to get me an email response and usually it is the same canned answer. Getting things set up is rather tedious and I have found a number of answer on you tube.

    Thank you for sharing your experience upon fixing the issue :)

    May I know if any changes (hardware/software) have been applied to your ANNKE system or Gmail account before the email alert stop working?

    Besides, have you noticed if the system's network status is still 'Online'? The is necessary for the email alert to work properly.
