    Hi, Claudio,

    Good day!

Currently, Annke doesn't support Mac OS, but we are collecting the feedback from the customers because we have a plan to develop the software for the Mac OS.

For your request, I will collect it and send it to the product manager. Any new update, please follow the bulletin of the Community.

I'd like to second this. Mac support would be great. Or at least an online/website access to view cameras remotely, regardless of system / OS.

    Hi, Zachary,

    Good day!

Sorry that we don't have the software to support MAC OS now.

But I have an idea about how to view the cameras on the Mac computer. Would you mind have a try?

On the Mac computer, maybe we could view the cameras via the RTSP stream.

Here is the instruction as for your reference: https://help.annke.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000252622

If your recorder is NVR, the rtsp link should be

    rtsp://username:password@<address>:<port>/Streaming/Channels/<id>(?parm1=value1&parm2-=value2…)

    e.g:

    rtsp://admin:admin123@192.168.2.211:554/streaming/channels/101?transportmode=multicast

I agree in this day and age 2019 we need MAC OS support as well chrome and safari browsers. I would have never bought the system nor will i think about buying another unless this gets fixed. I do understand you are trying to help with a work around but it should be as simple as opening a browser.

    Hi, Robert,

Thanks for your feedback. About this problem, we really need to do the investigation and the development for the MAC OS.

Theoretically, the RTSP stream link should be working on the MAC OS. If not, maybe there is a compatibility issue.

    @der_boehme,

    Goo day!

May I know the model number of the camera system? I will raise a ticket to the product team and ask them to release the software for MAC OS as soon as possible.

Yes, please. We need Mac support. I've had Annke for over 2 years and I'm about ready to find another system that supports mac if one isn't released soon.

By the way, maybe you could try to follow the below video to connect the system to the Mac computer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujDHfqJqHmM&feature=youtu.be

    +1

Full MAC OS support would be welcome!

Accessing the NVR using the Browser/Flash will work with an older firmware installed on the cameras. Cameras with newer firmware will show a stopped image... In my NVR should be possible to downgrade the camera´s firmware but ANNKE client support did not want to send me the requested version for testing proposes, this is not the best way to handle clients since they are the one´s who spent money on they´r products! Happy clients=more money in they´r pockets...

Of course that to use the browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) user will need to configure (a DDNS) the NVR/Router and open the chosen port. No easy task for common users but it is not needed a rocket science degree :D

All in all, the best is for ANNKE to native support MAC´s! This Bla Bla Bla we are working on it is already enough!
