Notifications for rain and shadows

    @Nuro,

    This is caused by the working theory of the security system. The system can detect image optical signal change. When there is a light change, the camera will be triggered.

    Besides, even if there is no object in front of cameras such as humans, animals, or cars, the system may still be triggered by small light changes such as floating clouds, shaking leaves.

    Therefore, traditional motion detection will trigger many false alarms.

    To solve this issue, we have the product supporting the PIR function. With this function, many false alarms triggered by the light, the wind, the trees, and rains will be filtered.

    Here is a link to the PIR security system for your reference: https://www.annke.com/products/s300-system?variant=32516666327179

    Thanks for the responce but i dont have funds to purchase a different set of cameras.

    For now, i have disabled the motion detection and just left the line crossing and intrusion detection enabled in certain areas. Thia has drastically reduced the notifications but is still triggered by lights, rain, etc. Just down to 20 or so from 300+ is a massive change.

    Hi, Nuro,

    Thanks for your understanding.

    If the line crossing could decrease the false alarms, you could use it instead of using the motion detection for the cameras. But as checked with the product manager, we don't have a better solution to improve the accuracy of the motion detection alarms. That's why we upgrade the hardware of the recorder and cameras to add the PIR function.

    Sincerely sorry for the inconvenience brought to you.
