The C800 4K cameras are great hardware and provide exceptional night vision and image clarity. Is the Guarding Vision Client software our only option? If so, why does we have to run it as an "Administrator" on Windows 10?
When connecting to the NVR via the web interface, it requires Active-X controls that are only available using Internet Explorer. Is there a new version of firmware we can load that makes the NVR useable in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge using modern technology?
Access aside, the playback functionality is VERY HARD to use to review continuous recordings, there isn't a thumbnail preview or slider that can be used to fast forward / rewind.
I noticed that when the cameras are connected to the NVR, the NVR pushes out a different DHCP address. Is it possible to have the NVR not push out DHCP addresses and just extend my own network? Otherwise I cannot access the web interfaces of the cameras without going through the NVR. Ideally, I would like the NVR to do the recording, but still be able to access the RSTP feed of each camera via my own network, without going through your applications.
I enabled SSH access, but none of my user credentials work. Where can I find the default root or admin passwords for SSH?
Unless these things can be addressed, I am seriously thinking about changing my Amzaon review and returning the product. The software stack needs some serious updating.
