Applies to: N98PBH/N96PBH/N931BB V2
Purpose: Help customers set up face capture and comparison
Note:
1) This is only for the NVR supporting face capture and comparison.
2) If your NVR is N931BB, please send us a picture to show the firmware version of your NVR. Only the V2 N931BB can support the function.
1、Set up a face picture library
Save a face picture to a USB stick, connect the USB stick to the NVR, then upload the face picture to the face picture library.
Please note the requirements for the picture:
1.JPG and JPEG are supported.
2. Each picture size should be less than 1 MB.
3. Resolution should be between 64*64px and 1920*1088px.
We can also upload the face picture on the NVR web interface. Please refer to the link below to access the NVR web interface: https://help.annke.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000252182.
The pictures below show you how to set up the face library and import the face picture on the NVR web interface.
"Modeling Status" refers to the process in which the system learns from images or videos and creates a digital representation (or model) of the face. Then, this model is used for face comparison and recognition.
"Face Grading" is a setting used to determine the quality threshold for the facial images added to the system's face database. Essentially, it acts as a filter, allowing you to reject images that do not meet certain quality standards, thereby improving the accuracy and reliability of facial recognition.
2、Enable face capture
3、Set up face capture comparison
In the linkage succeeded, you can set whether to trigger an alarm if a face is captured that is the same as the face library, and the type of alarm triggered.
In the linkage failed, you can set whether to trigger an alarm if a face is captured that is different from the face library and the type of alarm triggered.
If the captured face is different from the face library, you will receive the alarm and you can see the face on the Target detection under the live view.
