How poll snapshot via URL from C500?

  I spent some time trying to get snapshot url, trying any options but was not working with C500 / I51DM, got xml saying "Device busy".

  To get this working I had to upgrade firmware to HIK version IPC_E7S_EN_STD_5.5.800_210816 using SDK ClientDemoEn.exe.

  I can now see a jpg snapshot using this url on firefox : http://login:pass@ip/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/101/picture

  Our of interest what firmware were you on BEFORE changing firmware?

  I am trying to add the camera to home assistant and its saying ONVIF is disabled.

  My c500's are on firmware: V5.7.2 build 221202

  When adding them to home assistant I get this message:

  

   

  Then logged onto the IP of the camera itself & under:

  Network: -> Advanced: -> Integration Protocol: -> Enable (ONVIP = Open Network Video Interface Protocol) -> add user & password: -> Save

  Hello, I got a new C500 and have the same issue. What would be a valid snapshot URL and the firmware version?

  I have tried many different and do not work:

  snapshot.jpg

  snapshot.jpg?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]

  snapshot.jpg?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]&strm=[CHANNEL]

  and do not work...
