Selecting audio in desktop annke vision freezes program

Selecting audio in the windows desktop version of annke vision freezes the program.  I can listen to the audio feed from the phone app but when I select the speaker icon to change it from the crossed out icon it freezes the program?  Is there a setting in  the program that is causing this?
