NVR (N98PBK) not going online
I have just purchased an N98PBK NVR and all looks good on the monitor connected to it. However, I cannot get online. There is no WAN port, only LAN, which I have connected to the router.. There are no indicator flashes showing data flow (like the connected cameras do) at the RJ45 connector, indicating there is nothing being sent or received from the router. I have tried several cables and my PC is also connected so it is not the switch (I have also connected directly to the router).
How do i get the router and NVR talking to each other? Any help would be appreciated.
FYI I have looked at several 'help' pages but they show different software versions and insist on using the WAN port! not helpful

In this case, may i ask if your nvr is connected to your wifi router's lan port with an ethernet cable from the lan port of your nvr?
If so, may i ask if you had tried methods below to make nvr online?
