ANNKE 5 Mpixel pan-tilt camera from Amazon. My Lorex DVR auto detected it as 5 Mpixel and the pan-tilt function works as expected.
Problem is the top ~10% of the image tears and jitters, the lower ~90% portion is stable and image quality appears very good. First thing I did was swap in the power supply that came with the camera -- no difference.
It is not the cable, since plugging the camera pigtail directly into the DVR makes no difference in the jitters and tearing either.
I have a made an under 1 MB video clip of the issue I could upload.
Question is, should I expect a replacement camera from Amazon to be better or will it be weasel-words because I'm not using an ANNKE DVR?

Dear Customer, Have a nice day.
We sincerely apologize for any delays you have experienced in receiving our responses due to the time difference.
Since the camera is being used with a third-party Lorex DVR, compatibility between the two devices could be a factor in the image issue you are experiencing. If the power supply and cable have already been confirmed to work properly, we would recommend checking compatibility.
If the issue is caused by compatibility, replacing the camera with another unit of the same model may not necessarily resolve the problem. For this reason, we generally recommend using ANNKE cameras with an ANNKE DVR or a complete ANNKE system to ensure the best compatibility and performance.
That said, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your case. Please send us:
A short video showing the image tearing/jittering (the video under 1 MB you mentioned is perfect).
Your Amazon order number, so we can verify the camera model.
For Amazon orders, please advise us the order number like 202-1234567-1234567; bought on 2019-5-25
The exact model number of your Lorex DVR, so we can check the compatibility.
You can find the model number on the backside of the DVR.
Here is a picture for your reference.
And if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@annke.com.
Best regards!
