Annke Vision – What Should I Do If I Forget the Admin Password of the DVR/NVR?

If you have forgotten the DVR/NVR login password, the following five methods can be used to restore access to the device.

Method 1. Unlock with Pattern.

When you first set up your DVR/NVR, you created a pattern unlock.

• If you remember the pattern, you can use it to access your system.

• Then you can restore the system to factory default and create a new password.

Note：

If you have forgotten your pattern but remember the admin password.

• On the login screen, click Forgot Pattern.

• Enter the Admin Password to log in.

Method 2. Reset via Annke Vision App (requires internet connection)

• On the login page, click Forgot Password → Verify by Annke Vision → OK.

• Open the Annke Vision App (your device must already be bound to your app account during the initial setup).

• Use the app to scan the QR code on the screen.

• 

• Enter the verification code from the app and click OK.

• A reset window will appear → set a new password.

Method 3. Reset via Reserved Email (requires internet connection)

The reserved email is set up by the user during the initial setup wizard.

• On the login page, click Forgot Password → Verify by Email → OK.

• Use the Annke Vision App to scan the QR code.

  

  

  

  

• A verification code will be sent to your reserved email address (set up during the initial configuration).

• Enter the code to reset your password.

Method 4. Reset via Security Questions

The security question is set up by the user during the initial setup wizard.

• On the login page, click Forgot Password → Verify by Security Question → OK.

• Answer the three security questions you created during setup.

• Click OK to reset your password.

Method 5. Reset via SADP Tool (Computer Software)

If the above methods don’t work，please try to reset password via SADP Tool.
