New Cameras
Hi.
I have an 8 Channel Annke DW81KD DVR system, that is fitted with 4 1080P cameras, I have just purchased a couple of Annke 3K cameras and fitted them in to the system but looking at the configuration page for the system it is showing only 1920* 1080/60HZ (1080P).
I thought that the DW81KD could show 3K Video/Pictures, is my DVR out of date and I need to buy a newer DVR to show 3K, or are my settings wrong.
Thanks
Mr T Murphy

Dear Customer,
Have a nice day.
In this case, could you please tell us the model number of your 3K camera?
Because the solution to this case could be different depending on the model.
You can find the model number on the side or the backside of the camera.
Here is the picture to show you how to find the model number.

Besides, could you please provide us with the firmware version of your dvr currently? So that we can better help you.
The picture below is for your reference.
And if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@annke.com.
Best regards!

Dear Customer,
Have a nice day.
Upon inspection, your DW81KD is version v3, which supports a maximum resolution of 5MP.
So it is not compatible with ADL500 cameras. The ADL500 and CR1CV cameras support 3K resolution.
We are very sorry, but only versions v5 and above support 3K resolution.
Because versions v3 and v5 have different hardware, their firmware cannot be upgraded interchangeably. And if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@annke.com.
Best regards!
