Applies to: All ANNKE DVR/NVR models
We have always taken pride in providing users with 2 kinds of records—the DVR and NVR system. But what’s the difference between the two types of recorders?
1. There are 2 cables between DVR and analog camera--one is a video cable and the other is a power cable. But there is only 1 cable between PoE NVR and IPC, which is used to transmit both video signal and electricity. This is the main difference between the DVR system and the PoE NVR system.
2. The DVR can connect more than one camera of ANNKE or other brands. For the NVR, however, it is only able to connect the PoE IPC model.
3. The connector connecting the analog cameras and DVR is a BNC connector. While the connector connecting the PoE cameras and NVR system is the RJ45 connector.
