Q: How many baby cameras can I use with one monitor?

A: One baby monitor can work with 4 cameras at maximum.

 

Q: Can the camera view on monitor be zoomed in (enlarged)?

A: Yes. When watching the live view of a camera in full screen, we can push the OK button to enlarge the view to 150%; push again to enlarge to 200%; push 3 times will return to 100%.

 

Q: How to switch the camera layout when I have 2 or more cameras?

A: The baby monitor supports 1/2/4 camera layout. We can use the screen/mode button to switch the layout.
With 1 camera, we can only use 1-camera layout.
With 2 cameras, we can switch between 1-camera/2-cameras layout.

With 3 or 4 cameras, we can switch between 1/2/4 camera layout.

 

Q: How to Pan/Tilt the camera?

A: When watching the live view of a camera in full screen, we can use the navigation button (left/right/up/down) to pan (350°degree) and tilt (50°degree).

 

Q: How to adjust the monitor’s volume/brightness?

A: Press the audio/brightness button , then:
-use the navigation button up/down to adjust the brightness.
-use the navigation button left/right to adjust the adjust the volume.

Note: To adjust the volume of lullaby music, press the menu button --Music --Volume , then press OK.

 

Q: How to power on/off the monitor, wake it up or enter the sleep mode?

A: Press and hold the power button on the monitor for 5 seconds to power on/off.
Press the power button for 1 second only to wake it up or enter the sleep mode.

 

Q: How long can the baby monitor be away from the camera?

A: In an environment without any interference, the distance between monitor and camera can reach to 1000ft (from ANNKE lab data).

 

Q: Why will the monitor light on by itself from the sleep mode?

A: The monitor can be woken up from sleep mode by below reasons:

- When the power button is pressed.

- When there is new notification from Motion detection/VOX detection/Temperature detection/Feeding time alarm.

 

Q: Why the VOX detection doesn’t send notifications?

A: The sound may not be loud enough to be detected by the VOX detection. Please set a higher sensitivity for VOX detection and check again.
Note: The VOX detection will NOT work when the lullaby function is enabled. Please disable the lullaby before using VOX detection.

 

Q: What is the tolerance for temperature detection?

A: The tolerance is ±1°C.
Note: Please keep the camera’s temperature sensor away from hot sources as they may affect the detection (such as the working monitor, camera).

 

Q: Which function on the monitor can be configured separately?

A: Only the music , the VOX detection and the motion detection can be configured separately for each camera. The other function will be applied to the monitor and all the cameras connected.

 

Q: How long can the battery work? And how long will it take to be charged fully?

A: The 4000mAh battery inside will keep the monitor working for about 8 hours (with highest brightness) or about 12 hours in the sleep mode. When the monitor is in sleep mode, it will take about 6 hours to charge the battery fully with the original 5V/2A DC power adapter.

 

Q: Why does the monitor display flicker?

A: This may happen when the frequency wasn’t configured correctly. Try changing the frequency to 50Hz/60Hz on the monitor, covering the camera lens by a hand shortly then check the display again.

 

Q: Why does the monitor freeze/not react to any buttons?

A: This might happen if the monitor was operated frequently in a short period. To fix the issue, please use a pin to press the reset button on the monitor’s back for 1 second then release.

 

Q: How to enhance the wireless strength on the baby monitor?

A: On the premise of your local law, there are some wireless channels: FCC, EU, MKK, Other (Turbo) can be choose on the monitor to avoid interference. This may enhance the wireless strength.

 

Q: What to do if the camera’s day/night mode switch frequently when then environment is dim?

A: The camera’s IR light can be configured on the monitor as Auto or fixed as day/night mode manually.

 

Q: What to do if the camera fails to reconnect with the monitor?

A: We can adjust the camera’s antenna, put the camera closer to monitor. If it still wouldn’t work, please make sure the camera is connected to power (the camera’s indicator blue light should turn on). We can also reboot the monitor or pair the camera with monitor again.

 

Q: Can the camera work without power cable?

A: The camera doesn’t have a battery inside thus needs to work with a power cable, while the monitor has battery inside and is portable.

 

Q: Can the baby camera work with smartphone?

A: No. The camera will work with the baby monitor only.

 

Q: Which wireless frequency does the monitor use?

A: It’s 2.4GHz FHSS.

 

Q: Can I play lullaby on the monitor?

A: Yes. The baby monitor has 5 lullabies available.

 

Q: How to pair the baby camera with its monitor?

A: On the monitor's main screen, press the menu button , use the navigate button to choose settings button and press OK. Choose to enter the pairing screen, select a camera channel and press OK. when the monitor starts counting down for pairing, press the pairing button on the camera to finish the steps.
If the camera wasn't paired when the counting down stopped, please repeat the above steps.

 

Q: How to delete the baby camera from its monitor?

A: On the monitor's main screen, press the menu button , choose system configuration -- Pairing to enter the pairing menu. Choose a connected camera channel, then choose 'Yes' to delete the camera, wait for a few second and the delete will finish.
