Purpose:
There is a default account in the DVR: Administrator. The Administrator user name is admin and the password is set when you start the device for the first time.
The Administrator has permission to add and delete the user and configure user parameters.
Before you start:
- You have logged in to your account.
- Click Menu >Configuration>System>User.
Steps:
1. Enter the User Management interface and click the Add button to enter the Add User interface.
2. Then enter the admin password of your DVR and click enter to finish.
3. Please click ok, then it will pop up an add user window.
4. Enter the information for the new user.

- User Name: Edit the user name you like

- Level: Set the user level to the Operator or Guest. Different user levels have different operating permission.

Password: Set the password for the user account and confirm it again.
Here are the requirements of the password.
1. 8 to 16 characters
2. Password cannot contain user name.
3. At least 2 of the following types are required: digits, upper-case letters, lower-case letters, and special characters - Local permissions : Set the local permissions for the user account. Local permissions means the permissions of the user account on the monitor to which the dvr is connected and the webside of the dvr.
- Remote permissions : Set the remote permissions for the user account. Remote permissions means the permissions of the user account in annke vision app or annke vision software with p2p connection.
- Camera permissions: Set the camera permissions and select the camera which you want to share access to the user account.
- Click the OK button to save the settings and go back to the User Management interface.
5. The added new user will be displayed on the list.
Note: You can click to enter the Permission settings interface to assign permissions.
