After you connect the DVR/NVR to a monitor/display/TV, it shows no signal or just black and blank on the monitor(Attached picture for your reference), you can do some troubleshooting to find out the problem.
There are several possible causes of your DVR/NVR that do not show its setting panel. You may follow the troubleshooting tips listed below to solve the problem.
Solution 1: Check if both ends of the HDMI or VGA cable are firmly connected to the DVR/NVR or monitor. If not working, please try another HDMI or VGA cable to connect the device.
Solution 2: Ensure that the monitor input mode is set to the corresponding VGA or HDMI mode. For example, if you are using HDMI cable, please set the mode of your monitor to HDMI. Some monitors may have multiple VGA or HDMI interfaces and you can try switching between VGA2/VGA1/HDMI1/HDMI2. If there are additional monitors, try using a different monitor.
Solution 3: Verify if the DVR/NVR is powered on by the original power cord. You can check if the power status LED on the front panel of the DVR/NVR is lit. If not working, please help try another power cord with the same specification to power on the DVR/NVR.
Solution 4: If a hard drive is installed in the DVR/NVR, please power off the DVR/NVR, remove the hard drive from the cables, and try powering on the DVR/NVR without the hard drive.
Solution 5: If the DVR/NVR is connected to a router, use SADP on the local network to find the DVR/NVR's IP address. Access the NVR/DVR's web interface and check if the output resolution is too high; try reducing the output resolution.
How to change the display resolution of DVR/NVR via computer?
Solution 6: Disconnect cameras and network cables from the DVR/NVR. See if there is any video output.
Solution 7: If solutions 1-6 do not resolve the issue, please provide us with the troubleshooting results for each step. Additionally, attach your purchase information or order details as a file so that we can offer further assistance effectively.
- If the problem persists after going through the steps above, please tell us the troubleshooting results or better take some pictures about the process and send them to us as an attachment.

I purchased a Scannce N48WHE1T S/N;20190301000006
The unit does not boot up with either a HDMI cable or the VGA cable.
The Mouse does not light up when pugged in.
I have enclosed snap shots with the boards powered up.
There is one Green light light up on the main board, and D3 is light up on the small board.
Can you send me the schematic of the boards for this NVR system?
Is it possible to get a replacement NVR that works?
I sent a snapshot with the Model and S/N. Your drop down menu does not show my unit.
Thank You,
