Purpose:
You could set up an email alert to receive emails when the motion detection of ANNKE DVR is triggered.
Here are the steps:
- Please use the Gmail address, not Yahoo nor Hotmail.

Check system P2P status and make sure it is online. Log into the Annke DVR system on a connected TV/monitor, navigate to System-->Network-->Advanced--Platform Access to check the P2P status.
Note: If the status is 'Offline,' please refer to this instruction to make it online at first:

Log in Google account, go to 'Security', then turn on '2-Step Verification'.

On the DVR, navigate to the System--Network--Advanced--Email and set up like the picture below:
Tick on Enable Server Authentication
Email Address is your Gmail address
Email Password is the 16-digit App password from your Google account
SMTP Mode is General
SMTP port is 587 or 465
Tick on Enable SSL/TLS
Sender can be any text
Sender's address is your Gmail address
Select Receivers from the drop-down list
The Receiver can be any name
The Receiver's Address can be your Gmail account or any email you want to receive the email notification
Tick on Enable Attached Picture
Click Apply
After the above, click Test on this screen.
When you see the test succeeded, we can go ahead for the below steps.
If the test failed, please double-check the input options on this screen and try again. -
Link motion detection with email alert
Navigate to System--Event--Normal Event--Motion Detection, follow the steps on below picture to enable motion detection and Notify Surveillance Center. Then you will receive a notification via email when there is motion detection on the system.
